SAS Donations - GREEN GOLD UNITE!!
Description
Keep the Green & Gold Roaring 💚💛🥁
G’day Legends,
Australia is through to the Round of 32, and while thousands of supporters have been scrambling for flights, hotels and match tickets, our volunteer team has been working behind the scenes to organise another unforgettable match day in Dallas.
If you’ve ever joined one of our supporter marches, stood shoulder to shoulder singing with fellow Australians, or experienced the atmosphere our community creates on match day, you’ve already been part of something pretty special.
What many people don’t see is that none of it happens by accident.
Every march, every banner, every drumbeat, every chant, every megaphone, every permit and every pre-match event is organised entirely by volunteers.
Nobody gets paid.
We do it because we love supporting the Socceroos and bringing Australian football supporters together.
Of course, creating that experience comes with costs.
Along the journey we’ve replaced equipment, covered permits, transported banners and drums across countries, hired venues, and absorbed countless unexpected expenses. This week alone we’ve retired “Tom Drum”, lost one of our megaphones somewhere amongst the celebrations, and added a few more adventure-related costs to the list.
That’s football.
That’s tournament life.
If you’ve enjoyed what we’ve created and you’re in a position to help, we’d be incredibly grateful for your support.
Whether it’s $10, $20 or whatever you’re comfortable contributing, every donation helps us continue creating the atmosphere that makes following Australia around the world so memorable.
Thank You Gift
As a thank you, anyone who donates A$35 or more will receive a limited-edition Socceroos Active Support scarf, posted to an Australian address after we return home in August.
Every contribution helps us remain independent, volunteer-run and not-for-profit.
Thank you for helping ensure the Green & Gold are heard all the way to Dallas…
…and hopefully a few more cities after that.
