Description

Join Sue-Anne from Peace & Threads to reduce waste and create a personalised tote bag using sashiko and boro techniques.

  • Learn how to create a beautiful textile piece using repurposed fabrics and slow stitching sashiko stitches. The textile piece can be applied to a prepared tote bag, available to workshop participants (also made from repurposed materials)

  • A textile and sashiko thread kit is included. Some scrap Japanese fabrics will be provided in. the kit.

  • Why not make a tote for Christmas gifts and also red waste of wrapping paper and plastic.

  • Enjoy a slow stitch Sunday with other creatives.
