Satellite Live is a new live music series built around intimate, in-the-round performances, bringing exceptional musicians and audiences together for close listening, movement, and connection.
For our debut session, we’re welcoming youbet + Hiding Places for a special filmed performance in New York’s East Village. You’ll be right there with us, surrounding the artists in the room.
The whole evening will be professionally filmed and recorded for a future Satellite release. Cameras and crew will be moving through the space, and the audience will be part of the finished session.
RSVP & entry: Free with RSVP. This one will fill up, so come early and claim your spot. Entry is first come, first served until the room is full.
Filming & recording: This is a live taping, and the audience is part of the session. Cameras and microphones will be capturing the room throughout the night, and by joining us, you’re saying yes to being part of what gets recorded and released.
Phones, photography & personal filming: Please no photography or personal video recording during the performances. Satellite has the cameras covered, so stay present and enjoy the experience with us.

- Does my RSVP guarantee entry?
Not quite. Space is limited, so come early. Entry is first come, first served until the room is full.
- Is this event being filmed?
Yes! This is a live taping, and the audience is part of the session. Cameras and microphones will be capturing the room throughout the night, and by joining us, you’re saying yes to becoming part of the session we make and share with the world.
- What should I wear?
Come as you are. One small camera note: if you can, avoid wearing white, since it can read very bright under our lighting setup.
- Where is the event?
The session is taking place in New York’s East Village at 122CC, Second Floor Theater @ 150 1st Ave, 2nd Floor, New York NY 10009
- What time should I arrive?
Doors open at 7pm and the first set begins at 7:30pm. Come early, grab a drink, and get settled around the stage before filming begins. If you plan to drink, please bring a valid photo ID.
- Can I arrive after the music starts?
This one will fill up, so come early and claim your spot. Once a set begins, we’ll keep the room settled until it ends so we don’t interrupt the filming. Late entry may need to wait until intermission and will still be subject to capacity.
- Is there an intermission?
Yes. We’ll have a break between Hiding Places and youbet to grab a drink, use the restroom, and reset before the second set.
- Can I leave during a set?
Because we’re filming, we ask everyone to stay settled once a set begins whenever possible. Please take any bathroom or drink breaks before the first set or during intermission so we can keep the room focused while the music plays and the cameras are rolling.
- What is Satellite Live?
Satellite Live is a mission-driven, fiscally sponsored live music project built to champion exceptional musicianship, with a particular focus on emerging artists. Through intimate, in-the-round performances, we create paid opportunities for artists to do what they do best and capture those performances with care. We’re building a growing collection of filmed sessions so audiences can experience artists they love up close, discover remarkable new music, and carry these performances far beyond the room.

The best teachers never stop learning. They listen closely, stay curious, and let what they discover shape how they guide others. On their new self-titled album as youbet, released May 1, 2026 via Hardly Art, longtime music educators Nick Llobet and Micah Prussack proudly act as both explorer and guide, sharing three-dimensional musical sculptures so confidently and esoterically their own that they couldn’t have been released under any other name but youbet. Created in motion and shaped between long stretches of touring, the album reflects a moment of ecstatic possibility and grit. Both sharpened and expansive, youbet grows from the confines of home recording and “bedroom pop” into something sturdier, louder, and unmistakably their own.
Hiding Places
New York-via-North Carolina indie rock band Hiding Places embrace music as a means of communication, identity-forming, and deeper understanding of human nature. They’ve developed a forward-thinking sound with a sense of nostalgia built into it. Their tender, atmospheric sound became the focus of the room, quieting their surroundings as audiences became hypnotized by their steady, rhythmic interplay and bittersweet vocal melodies. Their cozily intricate and hard-hitting Keeled Scales debut, The Secret to Good Living, feels like a bold introduction as much as a well-worn mixtape, passed down from a trusted friend.
