SATURDAY CLAY PLAY

Saturday Clay Play is a MakerSpace Social User Group. Bringing together anyone with a love of ceramics, we meet each Saturday from 12;20pm til.......whenever!

MakerSpace user groups are free for members and $7 for visitors (pay on the day).

Please note, this is not a beginners get together but a group for people who have some previous experience. 

Regular beginners courses will be run by members of this user group and guest facilitators and may include:

Introduction to Pottery - Pinch Pots

Introduction to Pottery - Coil Pots

Introduction to Pottery - Slab Building

Tooltime - Bamboo Tools

Tooltime - Tool Roll

Tooltime - Apron

NEED TO KNOW

If you are needing to fire at MakerSpace, you will be required to purchase clay from MakerSpace. 

A range of Stoneware and Raku clay is available at reasonable prices and members receive a 20% discount.

A range of glazes are available including:

Underglaze

Stroke n Coat

Clear Glazes

Members 20% discount applies.

More than 50 Mayco Glazes available for member use only.
