Description
Saturday Morning Yoga with Lenore at Newcastle Birth Movement
Take a little time for yourself with a gentle, welcoming yoga practice at Newcastle Birth Movement.
Whether you're completely new to yoga or have been practising for years, this class offers space to slow down, breathe, move and reconnect with yourself.
We'll explore yoga movements for all abilities, relaxation and mindfulness — creating an opportunity to release tension, settle the mind and find a little more ease.
There is no perfect pose, no need to be flexible and nothing to prove. You don't need special yoga clothes or any previous experience.
Everyone is welcome.

What to Expect
This is yoga without the pressure to perform or get it “right”.
We'll move gently through a sequence of accessible yoga postures, connect movement with breath and finish with time to relax and simply be.
The practice is adapted to suit your body on the day. Some days we might want to move more; other days we might need to slow down. Both are perfectly welcome.
This class is best suited to mums who are more than 8-12 weeks postpartum and is not a pregnancy specific class- try our future yoga for pregnancy course for a tailored session in these seasons.
The intention is simple: to create a little more space for ease, connection and wellbeing.
You don't need to:
Be flexible
Have yoga experience
Know the names of the poses
Wear “yoga” clothes
Be a particular age, size or shape
You just need to:
Come as you are
Bring your curious self
Listen to your body
Take what you need from the practice
Come as you are. Move gently. Breathe deeply. Leave feeling a little more like yourself.
