Please arrive 10-15 minutes prior to the session commencement to register and be seated comfortably.
For safety reasons, entry after the session has begun and re-entry are not permitted.
Children aged 3 years and under may attend free of charge, provided they are seated on their carer's lap and do not occupy a separate seat - daytime sessions only.
ALL patrons occupying their own seat, including children aged 3 years and under, are required to purchase a ticket.
Children under the age of 16 must be accompanied by a paying adult to be admitted into the Planetarium.
If you are attending with a companion card, please contact the Planetarium via phone or email before booking to ensure seat availability.
NO food and drink is permitted inside the Planetarium.
The use of mobile phones, electronic devices and photography is prohibited inside the Planetarium.
Prams are not permitted in the Planetarium.
DAY SESSIONS: The Planetarium is not suitable for children under 4 years of age. If you do bring younger children, we kindly ask that you seat yourself closer to the door. As a courtesy to other patrons, if your child becomes restless or noisy during the session, we ask that you please exit the Planetarium. We have a foyer area for carers attending with younger siblings.
EVENING SESSIONS: Please be aware that children (including infants) who do not meet the minimum age requirement will not be admitted into the Planetarium.
PARKING – is free on weekends in the ML6 car park and along University Boulevard.
