Description

Renowned harpist Alice Giles AM, celebrated as one of the world’s leading performers on her instrument, is welcomed back to TAC for this special end-of-year recital. A First Prize winner of the Israel International Harp Contest, Alice has appeared as a soloist across the globe, captivating audiences with her artistry and virtuosity. In this return performance, she explores the beautiful and varied character of the concert harp, with a program that quietly reflects the spirit of the festive season, from traditional carols to impressionistic and virtuosic works. Spanning repertoire from composers including Claude Debussy and Carlos Salzedo, this recital evokes warmth, reflection, and a sense of quiet celebration, showcasing the harp’s unique ability to convey both intimacy and brilliance.
