Saturday Studio
You will have free access to loads of recycled and natural materials, paint, clay, paper, cardboards, pens, pencils, glues - everything an artist requires to make art.
You will learn what it is like to be an artist by working with a professional artist to assist you and a variety of materials in making your art. In term 2 we are looking at 'Line and Shape'
We recognise shapes in everyday objects, landscapes, buildings, figures, faces etc.
Experimenting with lines; contour line drawing/ continuous line drawing, drawing by feel, thick and thin lines using light or heavy pressure, cross hatching, creating form with line and other techniques.
You don't have to be experienced to join this class. We will be welcoming a range of primary school children of different ages, skills and ambitions. Together we'll discover the joy of creativity. Come to one class or come to them all - it's up to you!
