Event description

Discover Bold Park’s Wilderness Playgroup, renowned as one of Perth’s best-kept secret activities for toddlers.

Our program features Reggio Emilia-inspired learning in small, outdoor groups, providing a nurturing environment. Although each session has a basic structure, our Qualified Early Years Teachers tailor the activities based on the children’s interests that day, ensuring a personalised experience that meets their current developmental needs.

Days

Held on Saturday mornings, Playgroup is run during term time only.

Term 4, 2024 - 8 weeks - starts Sat 12 October 2024.

For Term 3 bookings, please email lei@boldpark.com as places may be available at a pro-rata $$.

Time

From 9:00am to 11:30am playgroup is a suitable experience for young learners for children from 18months to 3 years of age, attending with their parent or guardian/carer. If you cannot stay for the whole session, please feel no pressure – we completely understand!

What to Bring?

Playgroup will go ahead in most weather conditions (generally only cancelled due to a severe storm). For this reason, and that our focus is outdoor play, we suggest packing the following:

Pack Year-Round

Healthy snack, spare towel, change of clothes and water bottle

Summer days

Broad-brimmed hat and sunscreen

Winter days

Warm hat and raincoat, spare socks and gumboots

Guardians

Parent must be in attendance for Playgroup. We welcome grandparents and other family members to join in these valuable activities.

Where is Playgroup?

Park under large fig trees at Dodd Street carpark, Wembley. Click for Dodd Street carpark on Google Maps. Follow the cement path (that runs alongside the school) walking north, toward the large Powis Street carpark.

The entry to Playgroup and Bold Park's ELC is marked by a cement path that branches off to the left (soon after you pass a brick toilet block).

A Kitchen Garden can be seen through this wire gate. There is currently no signage but branded Bold Park flags should be visible.
