Save Kids' Brains: FREE Community Forum on CTE Prevention
Description
As was exposed in the recent Four Corners episode ‘Collision’, chronic traumatic encephalopathy (CTE) is an issue which is having catastrophic consequences for Australians, mostly beginning during junior sports.
The Guest Speaker is Associate Professor Michael Buckland. He is the Head of Neuropathology at the Royal Prince Alfred Hospital, Director of the Australian Sports Brain Bank and Associate Professor at the University of Sydney. As one of Australia’s leading neuroscientists, he is perfectly placed to provide further details and answer questions about best-practice prevention and intervention.
This forum is free and open to all. We particularly encourage junior sports administrators to attend.
