Savoring Shabbat: Dinner & Learning
Event description
As the days grow shorter and the air turns crisp, Shabbat offers a pause—an opportunity to come together, share a meal, and embrace the warmth of being with others. Shabbat, the weekly Jewish holiday all about rest, invites us to step back from the rush of daily life and focus on renewal, reflection, and connection.
Join us for Savoring Shabbat: Dinner and Learning, where we will gather around the table, enjoy a delicious meal, and explore the deeper meanings of Shabbat. Later in our evening, we'll learn from Koby Sibony, an Israeli copper wire artist who will help us create our own pieces of art. Through thoughtful discussion and shared experiences, we’ll honor Shabbat and its timeless wisdom, keeping the flame of connection alive as we lean into the season’s coziness together.
Registration will be open until Thursday, November 14, at 2 p.m. If you would like to sign up after that date, please email Rabbi Thalia at Thalpertrodis@jecc.org.
