Join us for an afternoon of connection and discovery! We Love Fitzroy is a community network created by locals, for locals, dedicated to celebrating the unique strengths, skills, and passions of everyone in our area. Led entirely by volunteers, we’re hosting an arvo tea to introduce our mission of building a vibrant, connected community – and to hear your own hopes and dreams for Fitzroy.

This event is a chance to meet other volunteers and experience some of the skills that shape our work, including appreciative enquiry and asset mapping, to help uncover and celebrate the gifts within our neighbourhood. If you’re in Fitzroy or nearby, we’d love you to come along and get involved!

What to expect

This is a facilitated and interactive session where you'll be getting to know other people in Fitzroy who are interested in building a more connected community. Expect to contribute to a conversation in small groups and as a whole, meet new people and have some yummy food prepared by the Fitzroy Learning Network Kitchen.
