This session looks at the skills and attributes that will have the biggest impact on your business success. While it's important to understand your competition, it's equally important to understand yourself and to focus on the skills required for success.
Using a tried and tested measurement model, after registering for this topic you'll be invited to take an online assessment. Your results will be assessed (confidentially) during the session. You will discover your enterprise skills and traits, explore development areas, understand what is potentially holding you back and which personal traits you may need to control.

The facilitator for this workshop, Lisa Smith, is an intuitive communicator with much experience in stakeholder relations, business development and communications and was recently recognised as one of Australia’s Top 50 Small Business Leaders 2021. Lisa has coached many people throughout her career in the resources, not-for-profit and university sectors, underpinned by a Graduate Certificate in Business. Mentoring people is one of her passions, as is the connection derived from delivering workshops. Lisa believes passionately in self-development and enabling people’s capacity to learn; her aim being to instil true self belief in everyone she comes into contact with. Lisa is a Master Practitioner of the Entrepreneurial Mindset Profile (EMP) and guide you through the keys entrepreneurial skills required that will help you in your business journey.
This workshop is presented by the Small Business Development Corporation, a Western Australian Government agency that helps small business owners to start well, survive and thrive. We offer free resources, business advice and low cost workshops covering what you need to know to boost your chance of business success. Bookings are limited to two tickets each, however you can make more than one booking. If you are booking for more than one person, please provide each person's email address so they receive our emails with important links and downloads.

If you cannot attend, please cancel so your place can be made available to another business owner. You can cancel your booking from the update order button on your order confirmation email. Cancellations and refunds for paid workshops can be made up to 24 hours before the workshop starts.
