Finian Foundation The Finian Foundation was established as a registered charity by St Bede’s Old Collegians Association in 2005. Since its inception, the charity has a proud history of raising funds that give aid to families who are undergoing significant economic hardship.
These families simply cannot afford a number of the fundamentals associated with delivering an education. In extreme situations, this has led to parents needing to remove their children from the College. To the Old Collegians, displacing a child, for reasons beyond their control was simply not acceptable. As such, the Finian Foundation funds are used to provide current students with uniforms, laptops, school travel, additional tutoring, excursion/camp costs, and in some circumstances, partial school fee assistance.
