Globally recognised environmentalist and entrepreneur, Brianne West, redefined industry norms with her bold vision and innovation, transforming a kitchen experiment in Christchurch into a global beauty revolution.

Ethique was the world’s first zero-waste beauty brand and named in Time Magazine’s Best inventions of 2020. It expanded rapidly, saving millions of plastic bottles from landfill in over 20 countries.

Brianne has won many awards including being an Obama Foundation Leader (AsiaPac), Exporter of the Year (American Chamber of Commerce), and NZ EY Young Entrepreneur of the Year, and was a finalist in the 2024 Kiwibank New Zealand Innovator of the year award.

In this workshop, Brianne will share her incredible journey on scaling, and later exiting a purpose driven, sustainable business.
