Event description

In 2023, Australians lost $2.7 billion dollars to scammers.

Protecting your personal information and digital identity is becoming increasingly important to ensure your money is safe and your digital identity is secure. Statistics show that scammers do not discriminate and that everyone can be at risk.

While the immediate impact is mostly financial it can also substantially affect the mental, physical, and emotional well-being of those who have been scammed and their loved ones.

Join our financial and therapeutic counselling team for an interactive information session about the types of scams, scamming tactics, methods of contact and the red flags to watch out for.

This is a collaboration between the Hut Community Centre, Gambling Help Service, and Relationships Australia SA.
