Travel instructions

Unfortunately there are no buses operating to Beaudesert on Saturdays and no train. Beaudesert is about 60 minutes from Brisbane and the Gold Coast. The Centre is part of the council buildings on the main road from Brisbane in the middle of town. Immediately to the north of The Centre is Davidson Park and an entrance to a car park behind the park. There is a path alongside the park running towards The Centre building that provides wheelchair access to the street. The Centre has ramp at the front entrance.

Entry instructions

Entry is via the main door facing Brisbane Street

After entry instructions

Everyone will be welcomed at the point of entry. The workshop will be held in the main hall space immediately behind the foyer.

Hazards

The Centre is on a single level floor. The main hall has two sets of large and wide sound proof doors that may be difficult to push open alone. Along the side of the hall are large but easy to slide doors into a wide hallway that takes you to the front foyer. The Centre may have an exhibition running at the time, however these are always installed and assessed for easy access.

Toilet location

Accessible toilets are immediately on the right once you enter the foyer.

Accessible parking

Two marked accessible parking spaces are close at the front of the Centre. The car park above is accessible at about 100m from the front entrance.
