Description
Schema Therapy Hub is proud to be hosting the inaugural training event of WS2 of the ISST Approved Australian ST-CA training curriculum in it's home town of Brisbane! Further, Dr Alison Bocquee is pleased to have the opportunity to deliver this training and grow the ST-CA community in Australia!
This training workshop continues your learning journey and builds upon the content covered in the Introductory Workshop (WS1), which is a pre-requisite to this more advanced practical experiential workshop; and then can be completed with WS3 for the full ST-CA certification curriculum.
Whether you’re looking to expand and deepen your therapeutic approaches, further develop your skills with children and adolescents, or work towards ISST certification, if you're passionate about working with young clients from a therapy approach that allows you to engage in a way that honours the therapeutic relationship and moves beyond cognitive strategies to deeper, experiential techniques and addresses emerging coping and interpersonal and emotional patterns, this training is right for you.
During this 3-day training you will learn and experience through practice techniques thereby deepening understanding of specific interventions in schema therapy for children and adolescents.
You will be guided to learn additional experiential practice for assessment, schema therapy specific case conceptualisation approaches, imagery and play-based rescripting, mode dialogues, empathic confrontation, and limited reparenting with thoughtful consideration given to these interventions' applications as relevant to the young client's development, and specific to mode types.
This training is delivered in a playful and experiential manner to continue your learning, growth, and confidence!
Schema therapy is a therapeutic approach that makes sense of the complexity of humans, but tit doesn't have to be completed; nor should training - Alison strives to make complex concepts easy to understand and apply with your clients.
