Description
​​This 24-hour workshop series aims to introduce you to the Scholarship of Teaching and Learning (SoTL). As a participant, you will have the opportunity to consider how SoTL can inform your teaching practice and explore how you can incorporate a scholarly lens into your practice. You will also have an opportunity to develop a research question arising from your discipline or teaching experience and conduct a literature review based on your research question.Â

- ​​Describe the key characteristics of SoTLÂ
- ​Map the SoTL research process from conceptualization to dissemination
- ​Critique current scholarship in teaching and learning
- ​Identify SoTL research strategiesÂ
- ​Develop a SoTL research question arising from own teaching experience or discipline Â
- ​Conduct a literature review based on a SoTL questionÂ
- ​Disseminate a literature review ​Â
