Monoprinting Workshop for kids - 17th April
Event description
Have fun at Bayley Arts during the school holidays and learn how to make your own monoprint.
This workshop is designed especially for kids aged 8yrs to 12yrs to explore printmaking.
WHAT IS MONOPRINTING?
Monoprinting is a process whereby only one print is made from the printing plate. Monoprinting is a fun way to create beautiful textures and layers of colours with or without a printing press.
Our tutor Cecilia Jacobs will teach students how to coat a plate with fine layers of acrylic paint and create texture and pattern using a variety of tools including natural elements, paint brush or found materials. Monotype printing is a fun and simple printing method and the perfect workshop to introduce children to the art of printmaking.
Includes all materials and lots of fun!
