School Holiday - Skateboarding
Description
The School Holidays Skateboarding Program is a fun, beginner‑friendly session designed to introduce young people to the world of skating. Led by qualified instructors from Concrete Skate Supply, participants will learn the fundamentals — balance, stance, pushing, stopping, and safe falling — along with skate park etiquette to help them ride safely and confidently.
This program is perfect for young people aged 10–18 who want to try something new, build confidence, connect with others, or get active in a low‑cost, supportive environment. Whether you’ve never stepped on a board before or you’re looking to sharpen your skills, this session is a great way to get involved in the local skate community
A free Sausage Sizzle will be hosted by South Eastern Community Connect (SECC), giving young people and families a chance to relax, refuel and connect with the community.
This is a low‑barrier, supportive program designed to help young people build skills, confidence, and community connection — all while having fun during the school holidays.
