Event description

Join us here at the gallery these school holidays for workshop inspired by our current exhibition, the Wangaratta Contemporary Textile Award 2025. Taking inspiration from the artwork Haze19 by Jemima Wyman, winner of the award, participants will use paper collage and sharpies to create a protest poster to put a positive message out into the world!

What do you and your friends care about in the environment? How do you and your friends think unfairness or bullying at school can be solved? What message would you and your friends like to send to adults?

Even if they are not able to attend a protest, kids can take creative social action and express themselves by making posters to hang in windows, mail to friends or family.

$10. All materials provided. Suitable for ages 8 +.
