- Who can attend the workshop?
This creative writing workshop is aimed at teenagers, but anyone 14 years and older is welcome to attend.
- What should I bring?
Your imagination, a keen sense of adventure and a willingness to write fast. Feel free to bring your favourite device, note paper and pen to write with

- Have you run the fantasy writing workshop at this location before?
Yes. This fantasy writing workshop was part of We Read Auckland last year and has been run in other libraries (We Read Auckland, Glen Innes Library 2026). It's been a lot of fun and very popular so we're running it again!
If you came to the last workshop at this library location in 2025, please be aware this session will be a repeat of what you learned then. Feel free to come again! I'd love to see you!
