Explore the rich tradition of Aboriginal storytelling through weaving with Kirra, from the Bundjalung Nation. Before written language, weaving was a vital way to pass down knowledge.
Join us where you’ll:
- Discover the plants used by Australia’s First Nations Peoples to create string, rope, bags, and baskets.
- Get hands-on experience crafting your own bracelet with traditional weaving techniques.
Participants must be 8 to 12 years old to attend the program. To ensure the success and safety of the program, anyone outside of the specified age range may have their ticket cancelled.
