Event description

Sustainable Schools NSW is running two free online professional learning sessions for NSW teachers interested in developing their skills and knowledge to teach sustainability and to take action to make their school more sustainable.

This is the registration page for Session 1.

Session 1: Regenerating Australia teacher screening and discussion
Monday 31 October 2022, 4:00 - 5.00 pm

Are you ready to regenerate?

Join us to watch the award-winning short film Regenerating Australia and for a discussion about how the film can support student learning and inspire students to explore ideas, solutions and stories to regenerate Australia.

Regenerating Australia is a 17-minute film depicting an aspirational and compelling pathway forward for Australia, featuring climate saving innovations that are available and being used now. Based on a four-month interview process with a diverse group of Australians who shared their hopes and dreams for the country's future, it is a story of empowerment, solutions and regeneration.

The film is best suited for use with upper primary and secondary students, has supporting curriculum materials, a schools action tool kit and opportunities for educational viewing.

Please note that due to licensing, the film is available for viewing at this specified time and the session will not be recorded.

Zoom details provided on registration.
