Help Move Science for The Phoenix School Program 🚚🔬

The Phoenix School Program is back, baby! After a COVID-induced hiatus, this initiative(which donates excess science gear from research institutes to schools) is back up and running, thanks to the awesome folks at BioQ and BRUDI! 🎉

Now, we need your help to get everything ready. We're inventorying all the donated goodies in our storage container at Monash Self Storage in Brunswick and moving them to the new TPSP HQ at BRUDI.

TPSP HQ Is located in Building B at 420 Victoria St, Brunswick, VIC, 3056

    Why:

Your support will help us get Australia's first STEM Library up and running! Imagine, a primary school that's struggling to get the equipment or consumables for their STEM class suddenly being able to go and borrow a class set of microscopes to explore the microcosmos for a semester. OR, perhaps a year 12 class exploring the universal code of life getting access to incubators, PCR machines, gel electrophoresis on demand. All that packaged up with lesson plans and professional development?! You betcha!

    Are you in education?

We'd love to hear from you! Spend a few minutes telling us how we can help you :) Expression of Interest survey here.

    Date & Time:
    12th October, 11 AM – 4 PM

Drop in anytime to lend a hand, bring a car (or just good vibes), and get ready to support STEM engagement in schools all across Australia! 🚀

To check-in and get directions, be sure to JOIN OUR DISCORD

What to bring (if you can):

    • YOU! (Your fab self is the most important thing)
    • A car to help move stuff (we might have enough, but ya never know)
    • Boxes 📦
    • Masking or papery tape

Let’s make this a fun day of shifting science and sparking curiosity in future generations!
