Scientist in Training Students in Years K-2; 10:30AM
Event description
Learn what it takes to be a Scientist! These sessions will engage primary school students’ natural sense of curiosity and wonder. Over the course of each session students will develop scientific inquiry skills, have a guided tour of the Fascinating Science Exhibition from Questacon, do some hands-on science activities. They will also have loads of fun along the way. Don’t forget to bring your library card to borrow from our vast range of science books.
Terms and Conditions
1. This event is exclusive for students enrolled in primary school (Years K-2 ONLY)
2. All young people must be signed in and signed out by a parent/carer/responsible adult. This person must be available as an Emergency Contact throughout the event.
3. At check out, please disclose any allergies or conditions staff would need to be aware of in order to provide you with your best experience.
4. If you are unwell, please do not attend.
Parent's / Carer's agreement:
I grant permission for my child to participate in the school holiday activities being held at Parkes Shire Library.
I understand that as the signatory, I am nominating myself to be the primary adult responsible for this child and therefore agree to remain contactable in case of emergency.
I understand that by providing my phone number on this registration form, that this will be the number used in case of emergency.
Please indicate if you give permission for your child/children to be photographed/recorded and for the library to use this photograph for media purposes, including digital social media.
Closed-in shoes are compulsory.
