Scoping Workshop on Low Carbon Building Materials
Event description
Western Australia is entering a major phase of construction and infrastructure growth. Investment in logistics, housing, renewable energy, defence, industrial precincts, coastal protection and civil works is driving unprecedented demand for materials that not only meet technical performance requirements but also reduce environmental impact.
Following the success of our inaugural Long Game Energy Storage Challenge, the WA GreenTech Innovation Hub is now developing its second Innovation Challenge, focused on low-carbon construction materials. This initiative aims to connect innovators, researchers, and entrepreneurs with real-world industry needs to accelerate solutions that support sustainable development across WA’s economy.
We believe your organisation’s expertise and insights can play a pivotal role in shaping this challenge. That’s why you are warmly invited to participate in a Scoping Workshop, where we will work with industry stakeholders to identify Western Australia’s unique needs, opportunities, and capabilities that can inform the design and focus of the upcoming challenge.
Your contribution will help ensure the Challenge addresses genuine market demand, highlights WA’s strengths, and positions local industry to lead in the emerging low-carbon materials sector.
