Scotch's Sleepout
Event description
Next Friday, 20th June, Scotch College’s Year 12 students, along with staff, will be taking part in our very own Salvos Sleepout -- an overnight event held on campus to raise both awareness and funds for The Salvation Army and the thousands of Australians experiencing homelessness.
Participants will be sleeping in sleeping bags on the ground, with minimal shelter, to simulate just a fraction of the discomfort and vulnerability faced by those without a safe place to call home.
Funds raised will go directly towards The Salvation Army’s homelessness services, helping to provide vital support such as food, crisis accommodation, financial assistance, and long-term housing solutions for those in need.
