Scott Gibson (solo) + Hatsia + Gracie Love @ Society City - Wollongong
Event description
8pm: Scott Gibson (solo) Raw. Scarred. Honest. Emotive. This is the music of Scott Gibson. Standing 6ft6 and casting a peculiar shadow he lurches to the stage and engages the piano with a equal amounts of tenderness and war. His voice beaten and harsh. His lyrics searching the intensity of life for its hidden beauty. A guttural eloquence both prone and vulnerable.

7pm: Hatsia:
Bending and blending genre with nostalgia, Hatsia writes songs with a vibe and story at its heart.
The piano guides her songwriting and is featured on her recently released mini-EP of original songs: ‘Hatsia: Live at Society City’, recorded live at a community arts space.
She also released a studio recording of her alt-rock/soul song ‘Trophy’ last year. Her debut single ‘You Glow’ was released in 2022 after the pandemic as a glittery dance/disco/pop track inspired by the likes of Sophie Ellis-Bextor. It has now been arranged into a soulful ballad inspired by Carole King which appears on her current live recording.
Hatsia likes to embrace the raw qualities of live performance and is currently working on another live recording project.
6pm: Gracie Love:
Gracie Love is an independent Wollongong-based singer-songwriter blending soft pop and folk influences, with deep emotional roots. Gracie is currently working on an EP for release this year. She regularly performs at local pubs and restaurants, where she thrives on connecting with her audience through her love of music. Her debut single Magic is out March 7th, it’sa summery, pop-folk song about taking a creative step forward.
