Screen Acting/Self Tapes - Years 7-9
Event description
Lights! Camera! Action! … But there’s only a lamp, a phone camera and you. So many auditions now require self-tapes but not everyone has the luxury of a camera setup and professional lighting at home. This two-day workshop will give you all the tips and tricks for recording a self-tape with equipment that you should find lying around the house.
Hone your acting skills whilst discovering the difference between performing on film or television and for the stage. Learn on-set technical elements like camera angles, eyelines and marks, as you discover how to break down a scene quickly to apply fundamental acting techniques.
ATYP school holiday workshops encourage and engage young people from Kindergarten to Year 12. Participants will make new friends, learn about performing, gain confidence and most importantly have a ton of fun in a safe and inspiring environment.
