    Screen NSW is holding a monthly webinar series to help demystify market partners and support mid-level creatives and producers to feel more confident to create and pitch projects.

    Join us as we speak to Amanda and the Stan Originals team about the Stan’s slate, deep dive into what kind of projects Stan is looking for and how to pitch your project to them.

    Amanda Duthie

    With over 20 years of experience in the Australian screen industry, Amanda is a passionate advocate for Australian storytelling.

    Amanda Duthie is the Head of Stan Originals, encompassing scripted series and features, entertainment and factual features and series content.

    Stan Originals has commissioned critically acclaimed and award-winning fiction content including Black Snow, Bump, Wolf Like Me, The Tourist, Bad Behaviour, Prosper, Caught, Ten Pound Poms. Across the Revealed slate of feature documentaries,titles include Danielle Laidley, Two Tribes, Amongst Us, Neo Nazi Australia and The Cape.

    Amanda has been Head of Arts & Entertainment at ABC TV, a/g Head of Drama SBS, Head of Production, Development and Studios at the South Australian Film Corporation and Creative Director/CEO of the Adelaide Film Festival, leading both the festival and its investment fund and Creative Director/CEO of Adelaide Festival of Ideas.

    Donna Chang

    As Commissioning Editor at Stan, Donna Chang works across Stan's pipeline of original film and television projects. She has worked at networks, production companies, and screen funding agencies, including roles at SBS as Commissioning Editor, Lingo Pictures as Head of Development, Screen Australia as Development Executive, and Production Executive at Ridley Scott’s London branch of production company, Scott Free.

    Alicia Brown

    Alicia has recently joined Stan Originals as Commissioning Editor across the scripted and factual slate. Previously Alicia was Head of Content Investment at VicScreen where she managed the Victorian Production fund and conceived and delivered the Originate Features program. As a feature producer and EP her work has premiered at Sundance, Berlinale, MIFF and Edinburgh. Alicia began her career as a journalist, producer and presenter on documentary and music programs for Radio National and triple j in Australia and the BBC in London.
