Screen NSW is holding a monthly webinar series to help demystify market partners and support mid-level creatives and producers to feel more confident to create and pitch projects.
Joining us in August is Daniel Monaghan, Senior Vice President, Content and Programming, and Yeesum Lo, Head of Development, from Paramount ANZ. We’ll be discussing Paramount ANZ’s content slate across Network 10, 10 Play and Paramount+, deep dive into what kind of projects they are looking for and how to pitch your project to them.
Yeesum and Daniel will be in conversation with Screen NSW Investment Manager Lauren Edwards, followed by an audience Q&A.
Daniel Monaghan
In 2021, Daniel was appointed SVP, Content and Programming at Paramount ANZ, and is responsible for the development and execution of programming strategies across the suite of content platforms which includes Network 10, 10 Play and Paramount+.
This includes overseeing the commissioning, scheduling, media planning, multiplatform programming, studio and third-party content acquisitions and regulatory compliance of all platforms.
Daniel is also a member of Paramount ANZ’s executive leadership team.
Yeesum Lo
Yeesum joined Network 10, now Paramount ANZ, in 2020 in the newly created role of Head of Development. In this role, Yeesum is responsible for identifying and developing locally produced Australian content across all channels and platforms including Network 10 and Paramount+.
A Hong Kong native, Yeesum Lo started her career in entertainment at NBC Universal in New York City and holds a Master of Fine Arts in Motion Picture Producing from the University of Southern California’s renowned Peter Stark Producing Program.
With a keen interest in global content, she was appointed Manager of Business Development for Endemol Shine Group in Los Angeles before transferring to Sydney in 2013. At Endemol Shine Australia, Yeesum was the Director of Digital, working across key global formats with a focus on creative content and commercial strategy.
In 2016, Yeesum was named as a B&T Magazine 30 Under 30 winner in the Media category.
