This PUBLIC event is in association with Relationships Australia and is the first of three educational videos. 

Screenager: Under the influence - Vaping, Drugs and Alcohol 

The documentary examines how technology shapes substance use by teenagers.

Inspects the intersection of the tech world and drug and alcohol use in young people and the massive increase in screen time that has led some teens to substance use.

The film debunks myths and depicts strategies parents and schools can use to encourage healthy decision-making, support teen mental health, set limits, and create healthy home environments. The film also includes many ways young people are using their wisdom and strength to help each other and themselves through this complicated terrain.

· The movies create the space needed for healthy conversations to happen

· The movies are relatable by using real-world people and examples

· Kids are prompted into action and taking the initiative

· The ideas are relevant to the whole family, not just kids

The evening includes the movie screening and there will be post movie discussions and a Q&A session with moderators and representatives of Relationship Australia.
