Scrub Cap Workshop: UMMSS x SVHM Sustainability Group x DEA
Description
Concerned about the amount of waste you see on placement? Want to do something fun and creative on your Thursday night? Come along to our reusable scrub cap workshop!
No sewing skills or knowledge required, you will get hands on cutting and pinning your scrub cap. We have expert sewers on board who will work their magic and help you create a sustainable and fashionable scrub cap that you will take home.
We will provide navy fabric on the night. We also welcome you to BYO fabric if you want to create your own personalised cap. BYO fabric must be polyviscose, gaberdine or polycotton, and measuring 120cm x 35cm. We will be sewing with navy thread, so keep this in mind!
Those who bring their own fabric go in the running to win a DEA-branded keep cup.
This event is brought to you by UMMSS Sustainability, St Vincent’s MD Students Sustainability Group, and DEA UniMelb.
