SCU OZComicCon Tour

SCU Unilife is excited to be organising a student tour of  OzComicCon Brisbane on Saturday 13th of September!

Oz Comic-Con 2025 Brisbane is packed with immersive and interactive experiences across pop culture fandoms:

• Artist Alley — Independent artists, authors, illustrators, game developers, crafters

• Australian Championships of Cosplay, including competitions, parades, and cosplayer spotlight

• Cosplay Central — Photography, repairs, displays, guest interactions

• Gaming Zones — Console/PC gaming, tabletop gaming, tournaments (e.g., Magic: The Gathering)

• Esports Arena — Competitive play and showcases across popular titles, live tournaments, and opportunities for fans to watch and participate in the action

• Entertainment & Community Zones — Music & entertainment stages, live performances, community spaces, workshops, bingo & scavenger hunts

Things to note:

• This is an all day event, meeting at Gold Coast Campus at 8:15AM where we will take a bus up to Brisbane together and return to the Gold Coast at 5:30PM.

• UniLife will organise transport return from Lismore campus to GC Campus for those students interested in attending who are based in Coffs Harbour and Lismore campuses. Please note that bus transfers are subject to availability and popularity.

• While students are encouraged to cosplay as their favourite cosplay character, it is not compuslory. Please read the Cosplay Props and Behaviour Policy to ensure you align with their event terms of entry (https://ozcomiccon.com/prop-policy/).
