    Event description

    This is a fun 3-hour workshops where students can familiarise themselves with the basic forms of the human skull.

    Learn basic portions and anatomy universal to all human skulls and,

    learn simple observation and sculpting techniques from a classically trained sculptor who was the assistant artistic anatomy teacher at the Florence Academy of Art, Italy in 2019/20.

    Georgina will give a brief introduction into the skull and sculpting techniques, after which she will guide students throughout the 3 hours session to help them achieve a proportionally correct and realistic skull.

    Students will leave with their sculpture of 10cm skull to air dry at their own convenance.

    This workshop is run out of her personal studio space at Mezzanine 55 so there are only 10 spot available.

    This workshop is suitable for everyone, beginners, painters, drawers, anatomy/ skull enthusiasts, portrait enthusiasts and even Halloween enthusiasts.

    Ages 16 and up. 

    All materials are provided (we will be using air dry clay),

    tools, armatures and resources are available for use (bring your own tools if you prefer),

    coffee and tea is included.
