Sculpt your Pet October 2026
Description
Artist Kirsten Perry will help you sculpt a small sculpture of your pets head in clay. No art or sculpting experience required. Just bring along a photo/print out of your pets head from front and side.
During the class Kirsten will show you how to:
make a pinch pot and neck as base in clay
add the details of your pet using tools supplied
let dry for 10 mins in a heated space to then allow you to use coloured slips to paint your pet in the desired colours
a glass of wine and light snacks available
Kirsten will be there to guide and help you get the look of your pet. Take as little or as much help and instructions from her as you wish. No experience required.
Once finished Kirsten will fire your work in the next 1-2 weeks and you will be able to come collect your work. All the work is done in one session and you will have a fired finished piece to take home in the following week.
All materials are supplied but please bring:
an apron
side, front, top photos / print of you pet.
