Sculpture on the Edge 2026 - Volunteering

Do you love the arts and want to be part of something special? Sculpture on the Edge is gearing up for another incredible year in 2026, and we’re on the lookout for extra hands to help bring it to life.

Volunteers are needed for:

• Bump In - Monday 23 November to Thursday 26 November (various times)- assisting artists, curators, and event coordinator, to install sculptures and general set-up tasks.

• Opening Event Celebration - Friday 27 November from 4:00pm to 8:30pm - greeting guests, checking tickets, event support and artwork sales.

• Welcome Desk - Saturday 28 November to Sunday 6 December from 8:00am to 11:00am and/or 11:00am to 3:00pm each day - greeting visitors, scanning of prepaid tickets, cash and electronic sales of catalogue, tickets (daily admission, raffle) and giving directions and assistance to attendees.

• Sales and Information Desk - Saturday 28 November to Sunday 6 December from 8:00am to 11:00am and/or 11:00am to 3:00pm each day - selling raffle tickets, assisting sculpture sales and providing information to visitors

• Bump Out - Monday 7 December - 8:00am to 11:00am and/or 11:00am to 3:00pm - assist artists, curators and event coordinator to bump out sculptures and equipment and return venue to a clean and tidy state.
  

Volunteers need to be over the age of 18 and will need to wear an ID pass on a lanyard while on duty. All of our wonderful volunteers will be provided with:

• a Sculpture on the Edge t-shirt

• training and support

• a free entry ticket allowing them to visit the exhibition on another day 

• the company of other fun loving volunteers, artists and visitors
