Scything basics

Join Joel Meadows for an informal introduction to scything. Joel is an enthusiastic and experienced scythe user. He will introduce the basics of scything - the equipment and techniques, and there will be plenty of hands-on practice time. The workshop will run from 10am to 1pm - stay for the whole thing or drop in for part of it.

This is a 'pay-as-you-feel' event - we ask for a booking fee now, and you can pay Joel the balance of what you think the experience is worth on the day. Please bring cash.

If you are there at lunchtime, you are encouraged to bring some lunch to share as you chat with Joel and the other participants. If you already have a scythe, you are welcome to bring it along.

The workshop will be held in Wesley Hill, Castlemaine - address will be given on booking.
