Buddy Trek 2026 presented by SD Design Trek
Description
Join us for Buddy Trek 2026: an immersive, fast-paced design experience through the heart of Balboa Park.
This interactive “micro design sprint” pairs you with a buddy to tackle a randomly assigned challenge using a Learn > Make > Test framework across curated trek stops throughout the park. Along the way, you’ll practice real-world problem-solving, collaboration, rapid ideation, and creative thinking in a fun, low-pressure environment.
Whether you're a student, career changer, creative professional, or simply curious about design thinking, Buddy Trek is built to help you strengthen your problem-solving skills while making meaningful new connections within San Diego’s creative community.
