SDG Impact Standards for Enterprises training: 90-minute introductory session

About the SDGs

The Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) are a shared blueprint for peace and prosperity for people and the planet. There are 17 interconnected goals, all equally important, and agreed to by all 191 UN Member States. Sitting underneath the goals are 169 targets to achieve by the year 2030. The private sector, as well as government, has an important role to play in achieving the SDGs.

The key to achieving them is to put sustainability and the SDGs at the heart of value creation – no longer an add-on to what gets done, but how all business is done. The UN Development Programme (UNDP) SDG Impact Standards provide a roadmap for enterprises to do just that.

About the training session

Think Impact is proud to be first in Australia to offer SDG Impact Standards for Enterprises Training Courses. This 90-minute introductory session is designed to help you make the business case for sustainability and understand how the SDG Impact Standards complement and enhance your existing work. The session introduces you to four themes towards actioning the SDGs: commitment, strategy, implementation and governance.

About the trainer

Rebecca Cain is an Associate Director at Think Impact. She is one of Australia’s most experienced and qualified social impact practitioners, and one of only two accredited trainers for the SDG Impact Standards in Australia, with access to the latest training materials and professional development.
