Hatha Foundations (8:15-9:15pm)
A supportive space for arriving as you are and closing the day with practice.
Late-evening practice offers a gentle transition from the movement of the day toward rest. These classes emphasize clear sequencing, grounding movement, and foundational postures held with care.
The slower pace supports settling the nervous system, reconnecting with the body, and building trust through simple, intentional movement.
Together we create a steady rhythm that invites presence without pressure.
This men's offering is clothing-optional.
You’re invited to undress to your own level of comfort, in your own time. The instructor practices nude.
Classes are open to gay, bi, trans, queer+ identifying men, as well as straight allies who feel they would benefit from a naked yoga practice with other men.
Pricing is equity-based, with tiered options to support a range of financial realities. You’re invited to choose the rate that feels honest and accessible to you.
I understand that life happens. If something unexpected comes up, please reach out. Otherwise, I ask that you honor your booking within 24 hours of class start.
FAQs
- What should I bring with me to class?
Please bring your own yoga mat. You’ll also need a sarong, towel, or personal cloth to place on shared props (blocks, bolsters, blankets) for hygiene. This helps keep the space clean and comfortable for everyone, especially when sitting or resting on props. You’re welcome to bring any additional personal props you enjoy using.
- Do I need prior yoga experience to attend?
No prior yoga experience is required. These classes are designed to be accessible to newer students while still offering depth and steadiness for experienced practitioners. Options and modifications are offered throughout.
- Is this a fast or athletic yoga class?
These classes emphasize Hatha Foundations, with slower pacing, fewer postures, and more time to feel each shape. If you’re looking for a fast, sweaty workout, this may not be that class. If you’re curious about moving more intentionally and building steadiness, you’re very welcome here.
- What does “nude yoga” mean in this space?
Classes are offered as part of San Diego Naked Yoga’s programming and take place in a non-sexual, body-positive, and respectful environment. If you prefer, you’re welcome to arrive in comfortable, loose clothing and undress in your own time, to your own level of comfort. Participation is invited, never forced.
- Can I rest or modify during class?
Absolutely. Rest is always welcome, and modifications are encouraged. You’re free to pause, change shapes, or take śavāsana whenever needed. Listening to your body is part of the practice.
- Who are these classes open to?
These classes are open to men that are gay, bi, trans, queer+, or straight allies who are curious about or already enjoy a nude yoga practice.
