Sea Glass Mosaics, Kaipatiki Project, Wednesday 26 January, 10am - 12noon
Event description
Proudly Supported by Creative Communities!!
Sea glass can be found on many rocky beaches from when bottles make their way into the ocean and come crashing in smashing against rocks. The sand then smooths off the edges over time, leaving a very smooth sanded look to the glass.
During this work shop we will look at some art projects that we can do with this sea glass. We will use it to create a piece of mosaic/jigsaw art.
The ReCreators will be following all government Covid guidelines including that all participants will need to:
- wear face masks
- sign-in with the Covid Tracer app
- show their vaccine passport 12+ or exemption certification
- socially distance
