Sea Shepherd Jervis Bay Beach Clean-Up!
Event description
When:Â March 21, 2pm
Where:Â Moona Moona Beach
TELL US YOU’RE COMING!
Throughout March, Allankay – the Sea Shepherd marine conservation vessel leading the fight against krill fishing – is sailing up the east coast of Australia to raise awareness of our krill campaign and funds for our ongoing commitment to protect Antarctica.
The Allankay is sailing past Jervis Bay on March 21. To celebrate, our Sea Shepherd Onshore Convoy is hosting a community beach clean-up! Join the Convoy Crew at Moona Moona Beach, Beach St, Huskisson, and join in the family-friendly beach clean and learn about our campaign to defend Antarctica from krill supertrawlers.
What to bring:
- BYO gloves
- Closed-in shoes to be safe
- Remember your SunSmarts
- Reusable water bottle (no single-use plastic, please)
There are so many ways to get involved! Check out our list of community events as the Allankay journeys north and support our massive online fundraising appeal to fund our Antarctica krill campaign and mission to protect marine life – there’s something for everyone.Â
Come and support Sea Shepherd’s next mission to defend Antarctica!
