Sea Turtle Fledgling Sculpture Workshop with Russell Solomon
Event description
Join SWELL artist Russell Solomon for a fun and hands-on creative workshop. In this engaging session, participants will transform recycled plastic milk bottles into a sea turtle egg using simple melting techniques. Guided through each step, you'll then learn introductory wire sculpting skills to craft a charming three-dimensional baby sea turtle hatchling. Your turtle will be mounted on the egg and a textured base painted with sandy glue to resemble a beach scene. By the end of the workshop, you’ll take home your own unique and eco-friendly sculpture—a delightful baby sea turtle emerging from its shell! Perfect for all skill levels.
