Sea Lake AstroFest - Lake Tyrrell Public Viewing Night - Saturday

The Astronomical Society of Victoria will host a night under the stars at one of Victoria's most stunning natural wonders. Lake Tyrrell is a shallow, salt-crusted depression in the Mallee district of north-west Victoria, in Australia. The name 'Tyrrell' is derived from the local Wergaia word for 'sky'. It is a renowned location for photographers and the perfect location to observe the wonders of the universe.
The ASV will have volunteers on hand with telescopes set up for attendees to view through. You will see planets, nebula, star clusters and galaxies galore!
Please note the event will be confirmed as proceeding via email 24 hours prior to the scheduled start time.

PARKING AVAILABLE AT UPPER CAR PARK, A SHUTTLE BUS WILL TAKE YOU TO THE VIEWING AREA AT THE LOWER CAR PARK.
