Event description

Our annual quiz night is back for another year! All proceeds from this quiz will contribute to the work we do as a volunteer charitable trust, with a main focus on advocacy and education.

Register your team of 6 people for $60, and get your brains thinking as we have rounds on local and general wildlife. There are great prizes and raffles on offer! This includes Sandymount Gin, Tartan Sari sauces, vouchers to local tourism operators (OPERA / Monarch / Royal Albatross Centre), vouchers to local bars, breweries and cafes, pottery and so much more! New this year we are going to be running some silent auctions, for some very special prizes.

This quiz night is family friendly, however all children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

Food and drinks available for purchase from the Precinct Cafe, and don’t forget to bring some cash for the raffles and silent auctions!

Local radio presenter Damian Newell will be our quizmaster.

Doors open at 5:30pm, Quiz begins 6pm!

ABOUT US:

Founded in 2003, The New Zealand Sea Lion Trust was established to provide protection to and education about this critically endangered marine mammal species. The New Zealand Sea Lion Trust work with the Department of Conservation to identify and monitor the local breeding population centred around the Otago and Southland coasts. The organisation is staffed and supported entirely by volunteers and we self-funded by donations from the public.
