Join four Horror Writers of America authors as they share from their newest terrifying works and discuss horror as a genre and writing as a profession.

THE AUTHORS:

Marc L. Abbott is the author of the YA novel The Hooky Party and the children’s book Etienne and the Stardust Express. He is the co-author of Hell at Brooklyn Tea and Hell at the Way Station, the two-time African American Literary Award-winning horror anthology with award winning author Steven Van Patten. His horror short stories are featured in the anthologies, Hells Heart, Hells Mall, Under Twin Suns: Alternate Histories of the Yellow Sign and the Bram Stoker Nominated horror anthology New York State of Fright.

His new novel, Sinister Ascension, is slated for an October release; his new short story, Reclaiming New York City, is coming out in the anthology The Chaos Clock.

Alp Beck lives in New York City. She writes in all genres but prefers horror. Her essays have been featured in the NY Times and NY Blade. She loves the challenge of writing short stories. As she states, to anyone who will listen: “A well-told, tightly written story is my personal Everest. Loretta H. Campbell is a freelance journalist and writer. Her book reviews have appeared in Publishers Weekly, Neworld Review, Quarterly Black Review of Books and Belle Lettres. Her short story, "Doughnuts" was published in the Black Girl Magic Literary Magazine. Her short story, "Roadside Mall Road" is included in the anthology Hell's Malls. She is a member of the Horror Writers Association, NY Chapter and the National Writers Union/New York Chapter and continues to submit her short fiction to literary magazines.

P&E winner "Best Steampunk Short", a P & E finalist for "Best Fantasy short, Collection" and his novel “Callback for a Corpse” was a second place winner in the CWR Poll as best mystery.
