Searching for platypus: Platy Project dusk walk at Birrarung and the Merri at Dights Falls

Join us for a fascinating presentation on the platypus, including a walk and seek activity along the Merri Merri and Birrarung. Help assess the area for platypus habitat to give freshwater ecologists a clearer picture of where platypus are (or are not).

This event is family friendly and suits children 6+. Please wear sturdy shoes and warm clothes. Torches and binoculars are also recommended (we will have some to borrow). The platy-project is a citizen-science project running throughout September, organised by the Australian Conservation Foundation and the University of New South Wales.

*any cancellations cannot be refunded, the ticket amount will be donated to the Merri Creek Management Committee.
